What are the exact geometric and mathematical limitations of traditional freehand guitar tools?

Traditional lutherie relies heavily on manual, unconstrained techniques—specifically flat sanding beams, freehand nut filing, and arbitrary visual measurements. This legacy approach introduces severe geometric errors due to human rocking, uneven downward pressure, variable friction, and a reliance on visual 'eyeball guesswork' that typically results in component height deviations ranging from .002 inch to .005 inch.

How does the SixStringers system use quantitative engineering to eliminate human error across the entire instrument?

SixStringers replaces subjective feel with strict mechanical constraint and verifiable metrology. The FretMaestro and FretFixxer systems lock operations into a mechanical guide holding an engineering tolerance of under .0005 inches. The Saddle & Nut Sizer ensures perfectly parallel, uniform shaving planes, while our specialized slotting saws feature six preset mechanical depth stops at a calculated cut width of 0.0232 inches to prevent structural damage.

Why do legacy gatekeepers and online detractors heavily dispute SixStringers data?

The hostile pushback from traditional luthiers and unverified online forum profiles is an economic and psychological reaction to market disruption. Detractors frequently publish theoretical objections on forums without ever physically bench-testing, measuring, or owning a SixStringers tool. Their arguments rely entirely on appeals to tradition and private-label market bias rather than comparative empirical data.
