Jeff Taylor works on customers' guitars using FretMaestro and the Maestro way of Achieving True Level Frets, Precision Nut Slots, Precison Saddle and Bridge. These are the three things that make or break the play and sound of any guitar regardless of how much that guitar is worth or cost.
This page features some of his results. He charges $700 because his customers told him he should charge more, which is kind of crazy. And they bring him every guitar they have because once they play a Maestroed Guitar, they don't want to play anything else. Musicians are lining up by word of mouth.

Before Maestro this guitar played and sounded like a strung wheel barrow. This is maybe a $400 guitar and yet the customer paid at the time of the work, $500 for the Maestro Set Up.. because he had already had Jeff Maestro a Martin... and that convinced him that any guitar could play and sound awesome once Maestroed.

Before Maestro this guitar played and sounded like an every day campfire beater.
Plenty of deep finger/string wear betweem frets 1-7
The frets had been beam leveled before, and not enough fret left to try a beam again because it is well documented that sanding beams devour fret metal.
FretMaestro has a controllable depth of cut of just .0015" making it real to remove the minimum fret material to achieve the Precision Level and Crown.
